Veterans Retreat is proud to announce the Heroes in Paradise "Best VACATION in the World" contest to benefit a deserving U.S. wounded war hero of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
The winner will be taken from their hometown, anywhere in the USA, to the tropical island of Malta, in the Mediterranean Sea, to enjoy a 2-week long respite and dream vacation for themself and one companion.
The contest winner will learn how to scuba dive while on Malta and learn all about the local culture, the marine environment, and the compelling history of the island.
Who is eligible: Anyone who has served in the Iraq or Afghanistan wars and who has been wounded while serving, is entitled to enter the contest. To enter; simply tell us your story. We will accept entries in either text or video format - images can also be included.
To Enter - please write (or video) a bio of your war-story and why you would like to go to Malta. The content could include some basic information about yourself and / or family, your branch of service and occupation in the military, your injury, your recovery, and any other information you would like to provide about yourself, your service, or your deployment. The winner will be selected on Veterans Day, by our panel of judges. All travel costs, food, lodging and activities are provided free-of-charge. There is absolutely no cost to the winner. For additional information please direct your inquiries to Veterans Retreat.
